Dubai may submit a bid to host the Youth Olympic Games as part of a strategy to show that the emirate is capable of hosting the 2024 Olympics which they are also in the running for. The National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Dubai has announced that it will apply to host the youth version of the international event, which will add value to their 2024 bid and showcase what the country has to offer. It would also be a great form of rehearsal for the Olympics and attract more tourism to Dubai.

The emirate is already known as one of the top business friendly cities in the world and has a top notch infrastructure in place to support tourism on a large scale. Dubai boasts a cosmopolitan atmosphere as it has attracted major international companies from a wide range of industries in the last ten years.
